Re: OEM or Hiflo

OEM.

Manufacturers design and do reliability testing using OEM filters. And their reliability/stress testing is more severe than 99% of us will ever come close to subjecting our engines to.

Re: Yoshimura Alpha Slip On

Just a quick question before I install a a Yoshimura Alpha slip on muffler. Is it compatible with the Kaw. bags, and is a heat shield on the right bag bottom a necessity? 100% compatible. Been riding with my Yosh alpha for over a year. Hardbags always on, no heat shield, zero issues. Even pick up g...

Went from the Z H2 to the H2 SX. Am I a trainer now? Lol
You didn't have the Z long. What made you change? The ZH2 looks like a fun bike.

Re: Is there a short .. and quiet can?

Nope. You've already removed the cat and are basically running straight headers to the can. You add a half can to that setup and it's going to be LOUD. I've toyed with doing the ZX10 headers, but my Yosh carbon slip-on (with cat still intact) is about the right sound level for me...fairly quiet when...

Re: Murph's bar riser design update #3

Is there an update from those who received parts 2-3 months ago? Were they good? Are these in production yet?

That's not even an R&G guard. 😂😂😂

Anyway, I posted above why the fit wasn't right, but no one bothered to read it. :bash:

Re: R&G radiator guard fit is dogshit

Ugh, after further investigation it turns out they sent me the wrong guard. They sent me an H2 version, which apparently has a different part number and is different enough to almost fit an H2 SX.

Stupid assed company that shipped the wrong one (not R&G, didn't order it from them).

Re: R&G radiator guard fit is dogshit

It looks pretty nice, but I'm not happy at all with the installation and all the tweaking I have to do. Probably going to have to take it off and screw with it some more. Maybe I just got one made by a drunk worker on a Friday afternoon, because this thing should literally slip on with 3 bolts. Here...
