Glad your doing OK. It could of have been worse. I'm also surprised that the repair only totals 2500$. Some dude bumped my bike and it tipped over with minor damage. I did the repairs myself, the total for the parts were over 5700$ Right side fairings $262, $271, front fairing $290, crushed coolant...

Mine was also pretty tight took 3 solid slow turns with all my strength to finally be able to use my hand. I snugged it down as many as I it took to get loose. No leaks. I went with Kawasaki stock filter. I used to be a K&N only guy but the Kawasaki filter is pretty high quality. I use Castrol 10w40...

Here’s my double bubble And it definitely deflects more air away from my head over stock. But I will say that going with the largest you can find which is not with zero gravity, would be awesome for 4hr plus trips. I forgot to say that is the light smoke in my pics. Seems darker than I would have expected but it’s okay I guess. I would have preferred a shade or two lighter.
