Re: Few roll races

Put a couple hundred miles on yesterday on a group ride and did a bunch of roll races. Only managed to record a few of them. Nothing too fancy. I have my camera setup for recording the gauges so it’s not the best view for races. 07 gsxr with a very light rider. https://i.imgur.com/dCLXDie.mp4 Ran m...

Re: Oil Catch Can Kit

Will a person still need to remove the side fairing to empty the catch can? I just started looking into this as well but I will wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for creating aftermarket solutions! The catch can I have selected has a capacity of around 8oz so it shouldn’t have to be drained...

Re: Comfort in long distance journey compare to ADV bike

Bad part was lubing the chain.... I hated doing that, basically daily. Last 5 days I did 500/day to get home. Had a great time though... South Dakota is almost completely normal!! So refreshing!!!!! I'll be riding in SD myself in a ten days except I'll be on my BMW R1250 GSA. The game plan is to ch...

Re: Comfort in long distance journey compare to ADV bike

I am taking a 2 week 5K ride starting next week, so I will report how the bike feels. I have the ABM bars, lowered pegs, and the Sargent seat and the bike has been fine for the 200-300 mile days. But 2 weeks will show! I just returned from a 5000 mile 2 week trip myself. Basically you figure out ho...

Re: Scotts damper with ABM bars

Did you do this for comfort or the ability to lower the front as much as you wanted or both? I have ABM bars on my ZX14R and my Hayabusa. I did it for comfort. I don’t think I’ll go any lower with the ride height. I am headed out for a 5-6000 mile trip this week with stock bars, etc. I have your Sc...

7600 Mile Service checklist

All, I thought I had seen posted a nice concise 7600 mile service checklist. Yes, I know I can go thru the manual and look up all the items to check, etc but man that checklist was awesome. I didn't see it with all the other good docs that folks had done like how to remove the fairings, etc. Did I i...

Re: Advice on tire change in middle of trip

Thanks everyone ... my wife said all the same things :-) It's worked out before for me but since this bike and Michelin tires are new to me thought I'd get some advice. Ok, it's new tires before I leave. Thanks!

Re: Arizona travel

I grew up in Arizona.... my wife and I travelled to Sedona many, many times. I remember it when there were very few people up there... prolly less than 2000 folks lived there when I grew up. Beautiful area and I know why folks go there... we certainly did a lot. Glad you had a good time and yes, you...
