Sprocket Carrier alignment.

Has anyone else removed the sprocket carrier only to find no alignment mark on the carrier itself? I have the punch mark on both ends of the bearing shaft, and I small alignment mark on the rear brake disc carrier, but nothing on the sprocket side.. Putting it back together without referencing the p...

Re: Who's had a tank slapper on the H2SX?

Oddly enough I had one this Saturday just gone. Out with a friend, and on a familiar stretch of country road. Full throttle acceleration in second and third, obviously the front wheel was floating and bucking off the undulating road surface. It quickly escalated into a fierce but thankfully short ha...

Re: Brake hose corrosion

My guess it has been left wet from riding in the rain, then the corrosion has carried on unchecked.. What Condition are the other banjos? I would, and will if needed have a line made up by “Hel” here in the UK.. with stainless fittings and fully covered lines..

Re: Brock's 260hp H2sx se

For a catch can I just bought another of the overflow bottles, pipe and clips (Part No13045-1057, Part No92192-1910, and Part No92037-1712) and fitted them to the outer air filter housing drain as well. There’s enough room to route both pipes and place both bottles inside the fairing. I just check a...

Re: Wheel Touch up Paint

Thanks, I tried RS paints and they only do the two main colours of my bike, the green and black. I found the colour of the H2 wheels, its Kawasaki 3001-1 Flat Ebony. Although we share the same wheels the SX and SXSE have a gloss finish not a flat finish like the full fat H2 Id also like to find the ...

Re: Cracked tyres

What’s the production date of these? I’ve read a few people reporting cracks on s21 and s22 tyres, I personally haven’t had any signs of cracking. Mine are lasting about 2500 miles, so don’t last a season, maybe age related or even a bad batch? Just checked mine, 5018 front, and 3519 rear, 2300 mile...

Re: Strange noise from forks?

Yeh, same thing. If I sit on my bike and hold the front brake on, then push on the forks, then allow them to return I here a definite clunk on the way down, and back up. If I then put the front wheel against a wall, release the brake and do the same thing (compressing the forks) there’s no clunking ...

Re: Strange noise from forks?

I think it’s the disc rotors moving in their bobbins. I pointed this noise out to the dealer on my first service. We put the front wheel up against a wall and then bounced the front forks, there was no noise. Worried me, but all ok.😁

Re: Launch Control

No, you’ve still got to change up. The launch control disengages once you change into 2nd gear, you may have had your foot under the shifter ready, and either instinctively or accidentally shifted up.. still fun though😎
