Its actually really easy to do and shouldnt be done on a centre stand as that unbalances the bike. This is untrue. The center stand just changes the angle of the oil meniscus by 3-4 degrees. Takes a little practice. Makes it easier if you have your hand on the front brake so it doesnt roll away.

Its actually really easy to do and shouldnt be done on a centre stand as that unbalances the bike. Find flat surface, stand on right side of bike, apply front brake and pull the bike up straight. Pull until you feel it at its balancing point and then check the oil level.

My ZX12R had interesting behaviour on the last bar of fuel. If you nailed it in first/second gear all the fuel would rush to the back of the tank and the engine would cut out causing your rush of acceleration to suddenly decline ... which in turn causes the fuel to rush forward back to the fuel pum...

I always do. I have a small air compressor i bring in my bag to fill it back up when i head home. Now i dont have to find someone with a car to use their 12v socket :)

Not in my sx but experienced it in a car. Fuel pump was basically picking up dirt and shit that settles at the bottom of the tank.
