Re: Warped front rotors

I took the bike to the dealer and had a tech ride it. He felt the problem but said that it could be the worn front tire. New tire installed, same pulsating. Next he adjusted steering head bearing 1 half turn tighter, same pulsating. Rotor run out was within spec. Kawasaki was called and I get new ro...

Re: Warped front rotors

I also am having pulsating on front when braking. I have had 4 14Rs and 2 ZX12Rs with no problems warping rotors, all have been to track days at Road America. Looks like Kawasaki might have rotor warp problems on our H2SX and SE models. Good to know they are covering under warranty past 12 months. I...

Re: Obligatory Oil Thread

Kawasaki does not manufacture it"s oil. All bike brands buy from Big Oil Comps. Use bike brand or buy from any major comp. you feel comfortable with. My 2 cents worth.

Re: Exhausted for looking for exhausts

I have installed a Muzzy slip on (left over from my ZX14R) and dropped 10lbs. off bike. I would like to remove just the muffler box and lose 8 more lbs. I would cut the butterfly stub flush and collector stub flush with muffler box and have a pipe fabbed between both ends leaving cat and butterfly v...

Re: de cat

Prof J,I did not want the extra work of removing cables and electric motor. The exhaust butterfly also retains bottom end grunt. Also I wanted to keep stock O2 sensor if possible.

Re: Which exhaust are you going with?

Muzzy slip on. I had these on my ZX14R. I had it ceramic coated flat black and a muffler shop made the pipe to the muffler box. The sound is deeper and more throatier, plus dropped 10lbs.. WIN WIN!! :cheer:

Re: de cat

What would be the problems encountered if you left the cat on and the exhaust valve on? I had a muffler shop mount a Muzzy slip on to stock muffler box. I lost 10lbs. and the sound is deeper and more throaty. If you just cut out the muffler box and replace it with another exhaust mid pipe ,still kee...
